Kids and Youth Programme

It’s all about Kids!!  Fun, Fitness, Friends, Confidence.

MetaSport’s Kids and Youth Triathlon Training offers dedicated sessions for ages 8-11 and 12-15 years. We have experienced coaches and kids specific sessions, tailored with growing bodies in mind.  We introduce kids to swimming and running in a fun way, with weekly sessions that build fitness and skills that are integral to other sports such as football, netball and rugby.

MetaSport Kids and Youths will be exposed to a wide variety of activities to develop fundamental physical movement skills.

Some of the key focus points of the training are:

  • Pool and Open Water Swim Confidence
  • Swimming Technique and Stroke Development
  • Running Form, Endurance and Speed
  • Race Preparation and Practice

We aim to provide the right combination of structure and skill development, while keeping the training entertaining, interactive, and fun.

Please note: The minimum age is 8 years old, and kids must be able to swim 100m freestyle with good technique before joining.

Membership details:
*Pro-rata fees: Joining the programme mid term? Don’t worry we can pro-rata the fees accordingly.
*Make up lessons: Going on holiday or the kids are sick? Please let us know in advance and we will schedule a make-up lesson.
*Trial Sessions: Would you like to bring your child along for a trial session before committing? No problem, click here to arrange.

Both swim and run each week, bliss!

*One time registration fee: $50
