CAMPS FOCUS
The duration of our camps varies from a week-end to 5+ days, but all camps have in common an intensive training program designed to boost your fitness in a short period of time.
Most camps cover all three disciplines of triathlon (swimming, running and cycling) with an emphasis on:
(1) LONG BIKE RIDES - Perhaps the hardest to accomplish in busy cities where most of us live. We pack a lot of cycling into a few days, actively seeking out hilly, beautiful locations so that your training is of maximum benefit and interest.
(2) BRICK SESSIONS - Running up to one hour, directly after cycling. This is easier to do as a team when there are others to push and motivate you.
(3) OPEN-WATER SWIMS - A 2km open water swim is more fun with others, significantly safer with boat backup, and rather more pleasant in the clear waters off Phuket/Bali/Bintan!
(4) RELAX - After a days training, enjoy a massage and chat over a beer with training partners.
GROUP STRUCTURE AND LEVEL
The camps bring together athletes split into groups of different levels. The coach-to-athlete ratio is usually 1 to 10. Each camp is different in terms of the fitness level required, see each camp page for details.
On most of our camps we offer three different training programs catering to beginners (White Group), intermediate level athletes (Red Group) and serious age-grouper triathletes (Black Group).
