12 Days Of Christmas Swim

Between holiday shopping sprees, why not plan to get a workout in at the pool? This set comes straight from the North Pole (and our MetaSport Coaching Team!)

Here is our Twelve days of Christmas Workout, and it’s 2700 meters of joy! Feel free to do it over a few days!

 

 

12 Days of Christmas Swim Sung (at least somewhat to the tune of “The 12 Days of Christmas”.)

On the first day of Christmas my “fav coach” gave to me,

1 x 200m easy

On the second day of Christmas my “fav coach” gave to me,

2 x 200m IM (fly, back stroke, breaststroke, free), rest: 20s

On the third day of Christmas my “fav coach” gave to me,

3 x 100m steady (paddles), rest: 10s

On the fourth day of Christmas my “fav coach” gave to me,

4 x 25m kicks (fins), rest: 5s

On the fifth day of Christmas my “fav coach” gave to me,

5 x 25m sculling (buoy), rest: 5s

On the sixth day of Christmas my “fav coach” gave to me,

6 x 25m deep water start, rest: 5s

On the seventh day of Christmas my “fav coach” gave to me,

7 x 25m race pace

On the eighth day of Christmas my “fav coach” gave to me,

8 x 25m single arm (fins), rest: 5s

On the ninth day of Christmas my “fav coach” gave to me,

9 x 25m hard, rest: 10s

On the tenth day of Christmas my “fav coach” gave to me,

10 x 25m 3/5 (paddles + buoy)

On the eleventh day of Christmas my “fav coach” gave to me,

11 x 25m easy/mod/hard with sighting

On the twelfth day of Christmas my “fav coach” gave to me,

12 x 25m as  1 hard, 1 easy, no rest time
