From 24 July – 8 August, Decathlon and MetaSport are partnering to deliver a high octane virtual sports fest that will satisfy even the biggest athletic fans. With activities spanning two weeks, and involving ten different sports including basketball, running, football, swimming and walking, participants can qualify for gold, silver, and bronze awards and redeem rewards all whilst having a great time.
MetaSport is stepping in to organise the 5.6km Virtual Run and 6.5km/10km Store-to-Store Walkathon using our newly launched MyRaceGate app. With the app, walkathon participants will enjoy motivational chants, and inspiring audio that shares fun facts about points of interest they have passed. Meanwhile, runners will have their own virtual coach to keep them running strong with tips and performance updates against a set goal or chosen competitors. Best of all, participants can have their favourite music playlist in the background for an extra boost!
After two years of successfully working together for the MetaSprint Series, this is the latest product of a relationship that matches Decathlon – a global leader in sport retail, with MetaSport’s exceptional event management capabilities.
