A new star is born: Remco Evenepoel. Or might it be the Specialized Tarmac SL7?

A new star is born: Remco Evenepoel. Or might it be the Specialized Tarmac SL7?

Professional cycling has re-started and a young 20-year old Belgian, Remco Evenepoel, took off where he started, winning 1-week long stage races. He won all the stage races he started this year, beating stalwart names in the peloton in the process. Evenepoel is unique in that he is a powerful type of rider who excels in time trials, but can also climb with the best.

Evenepoel happens to ride the new Specialized Tarmac SL7. A bike that mirrors Evenepoel’s abilities and versatility as a cyclist. Its light weight suits climbers, and its superior aerodynamics and handling benefits fast finishers. Evenepoel won’t feature in the Tour de France, but both agile climber Julian Alaphilipe and powerful sprinter Peter Sagan will ride this new machine.

Although this bike is revolutionary for professional cyclists, we believe that the real boon is for amateurs who no longer need to choose the type of bike that suits them best or own multiple bikes for different terrains (like Tour de Bintan). This bike has it all. A new star is born!
